11th August 1107 - Roger le Poer consecrated as Bishop of Salisbury

On 11 August 1107 Roger le Poer (or Poore) was consecrated as Bishop of Salisbury.[1] Wikipedia says Bishop Roger ‘ruled England while King Henry I was in Normandy’ - he was the Lord Chancellor and ‘Lord Keeper of England’.
