12th February 1922 - Salisbury War Memorial is unveiled

Salisbury War Memorial.JPG On this day in 1922 the War Memorial was unveiled in Salisbury Market Square by Lt. T E Adlam.

The Memorial was ‘highly controversial’[1] when it was built.
