She visited the Bishops Palace, Wilton House and the Cathedral.

She returned on New Year’s Day. TJ Northey wrote:

During her sojourn Messrs. Seagrim, Thring and Nightingale, carpet manufacturers at Wilton, were introduced to the Princess, who was pleased to accept four elegant hearthrugs, emblazoned with Her Koyal Highness’s arms, and which were presented to her as a memento of an important local industry. [1]
