5th January 1818 - Prince Leopold, future king of Belgium visits Salisbury

Leopold had married Princess Charlotte of Wales, the daughter of the future George IV, but she had died in 1817, shortly after mis-carrying.

[1] There is one other Prince Leopold listed on the Wikipedia (see Prince Leopold disambiguation page) who would have been about the right age to have visited Salisbury at this time - Leopold II, Prince of Lippe. However, the Northey source styles the Prince ‘His Serene Highness’. Leopold of Belgium was called this(see link), and Leopold of Lippe wasn’t (see link), as far as I can see
