My friend Fred Fieber was lead artist on the Milford Street Bridge Mural. He’s kindly given me a really nice photo to put on the website.
I’ve cropped the photo down to this image of the Crystal Tavern:

Fred gave me this information about the mural:
The Milford Street Bridge Mural was painted in 2011 as the focal point to the Milford Street Bridge Project, a community scheme, commemorating the history of this area of Salisbury before the Inner City Ring Road was built in the early 1970s.
The Mural depicts lost buildings from the area and characters taken from oral histories and research done during the project.
The mural is 31 metres wide and 6 metres deep. Painting of the mural took about 360 man hours and was designed by Lead artist, Fred Fieber, with characters by Anthony Woodward
The project was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Salisbury City Council and Wiltshire Council.
To that I would add that Fred does a ‘House Portrait‘ service.
