As you may know the Conservative Party have decided to select their candidates my means of an ‘open primary’. In principle, this means that anybody resident in the constituency can vote to select who is going to be the next Conservative candidate for the General Election.
Following the resignation of Salisbury’s long-serving MP, Robert Key, an open primary has been scheduled for the end of January.
Registration for the Open Primary is now closed, but I’m pleased and grateful that all of the candidates for the Conservative nomination to be Salisbury’s next Member of Parliament have answered a set of questions for this website.
