The Story of Joshua Scamp

Image from Amazon not from the show I saw Robert MacCall tell the story of ‘A Christmas Carol’ a few years ago. It was very good. Towards the end of the month he is telling the story of Joshua Scamp – a gypsy who was falsely accused of horse theft and hanged. Scamp was buried at Odstock.

Street care reporting

Love where you live, illustrating Wiltshire Councils Streetcare Reporting page Councillor Brian Dalton’s blog pointed me in the direction of this page, which allows for the reporting of “fly posting, fly tipping graffiti, dog fouling, street litter, a problem with a play area, a dead animal on public land, a full or damaged public litter bin, a street that needs sweeping, overgrown grass, weeds, hedges or trees, a problem with public toilets, and needles and syringes found on council land”
