Stonehenge on Google Street View

Stonehenge has been included on a list of 19 World Heritage sites which are now visible in Google’s ‘street view’. (1)

The ‘Street View’ functionality is an option within Google Maps. Typically Google have sent cars equipped with cameras to photograph the roads of various cities. In the case of Stonehenge, they used a tricycle instead:

Street View is available for several cities in England, although not yet for Salisbury.

To use Street View for Stonehenge, click on the link below and drag the ‘little man’ from the top left hand corner of the map onto the area you want to look at.
