Hello, world II

This blog is going to be a copy of my Salisbury blogspot blog.

The main features are currently intended to be:

• the road name derivation pages – a more-than-slightly nerdy list of every road name and how I think that name is derived

• a history time line – hopefully putting major events in Salisbury into historical context

• some stuff about the West front of the cathedral – mainly about the Saints, and other, who have statues there

• walking guides

• a bunch of other local history and general art-y stuff

…but I’ll see what happens
