The British Library and the University of East Anglia have started a three year research project on the Magna Carta[1].
The project ‘aims to expand public and scholarly understanding of the making and meaning of Magna Carta’. The Salisbury ‘link’ here, if you’re not aware is that one of the four remaining copies of the Magna Carta is on display in Salisbury Cathedral. |

The torch is being driven to Stonehenge and back early on the morning of the 12th July. I suspect it may be there for sunrise, but that’s just a guess! |
Chivitz in Salisbury

Chivitz is a Brazilian graffiti artist who is doing some work here for Salisbury Festival. I’ve not seen any of it ‘in the flesh’ as yet, but the photos look great.
The first link here shows some previous work, but the second link has his depiction of the Queen’s visit to Salisbury. |

Footnotes
- It seems to be more properly ‘Magna Carta’ rather than ‘the Magna Carta’, but I can’t quite get used to leaving out the ‘the’ [↩]
