Saint Pauls Road is named for Saint Paul’s Church. Saint Pauls Church replaced the Church of St Clements Way which was located on the other side of the railway, between Elizabeth Gardens and Churchfields.
Saint Paul traditionally wrote 14 of the books of the New Testament. Although he never met Jesus, it is probably fair to say that he had helped to define Christianity.
