Hello!
If you’ve arrived at this site looking for the Salisbury election candidates ‘Questions and Answers’ posts, then they are at the following links:
- John Glen, Conservative candidate
- Nick Radford, Liberal Democrat candidate
- Tom Gann, Labour candidate
The purpose of this particular post is slightly artificial – it’s just here to ensure that none of the candidates appear on the front page of the blog, as that would seem unfair on the others. I tried a couple of other ways of doing this but neither worked.
Anyway, since I have got this ‘spare post’ to use up, it might be worth be linking to some of other posts.
The main theme of the website is currently the road names of Salisbury, and their meanings. For reasons too obscure and boring to relate, I’m going through the road names in a reverse-alphabetical order.
I have just completed the road names beginning with the letter ‘M’. The more interesting ones are probably:
- Marlborough Road, Salisbury
- Melemonger Street, Salisbury
- Merrifield Road, Ford
- Methuen Drive, Salisbury
- Middleton Road, Salisbury
- Milford Hill, Salisbury
- Milford Hollow, Milford
- Milford Trading Estate, Salisbury
- Mill Lane and Millers Close, Stratford
- Mill Road, Salisbury
- Mill Stream Approach, Salisbury
- Milton Road, Salisbury
- Misery Hill, Codford
- Mitchell Road, Salisbury
- Mitre Corner, Salisbury
- Mizmaze Hill, Salisbury
- Moberly Road, Salisbury
- Montgomery Gardens, Salisbury
- Munks Close, Harnham
- Mutton Bridge, Milford
- Myrrfield Road, Salisbury
