By mattypenny, on May 30th, 2009% The North Walk is one of the roads within Salisbury Cathedral’s Close. Both North Street in Wilton and North Street in Salisbury are part of small groups of roads which ‘box the compass’ to some extent. So in Salisbury, North Street meets West Street, East Street and South Street at what used to be the . . . → Read More: North Walk, Salisbury, North Street, Salisbury and North Street, Wilton
By mattypenny, on July 5th, 2008% One of four Victorian streets named after the points of the compass that meet in a crossroads by what was, until recently, the Bird in the Hand pub.
By mattypenny, on July 5th, 2008% As with South Street in Salisbury, another crossroads, this one in Wilton. The Wilton crossroads only has South, North and West Streets.

By mattypenny, on June 14th, 2008% As above another crossroads, although in Wilton the eastern road is called Silver Street.
