25th June 1897 - bishop Wordsworth holds garden party to celebrate Diamond Jubilee

Salisburys Bishops Palace - Parliament met here in 1384On the evening of the 25th June 1897 Bishop Wordsworth held a public garden party at the Bishops Palace to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. Entrance was one penny, with proceeds going to the Infirmary[1]
